Terms and Conditions of Membership in the Patrons Club Stanislav Libenský Award

 I. Welcome to the Patrons Club

The Stanislav Libenský Award Patrons Club is an exclusive community of exceptional personalities who support and develop the art of glassmaking. We aim for quality of personality and meaningful support, not quantity, and view membership as an investment in influence and legacy. An individual can become a member of the club by making a donation to the Prague Gallery of Czech Glass, o.p.s. and the organization of the international Stanislav Libenský Award competition.

Your patronage is crucial to the Stanislav Libenský Award competition, which is the "Oscar for young glassmakers" and the only international glass exhibition for university graduates. Your support ensures the continuity of this award, helping young artists to enter the market and gain education, such as a scholarship to the prestigious summer glass school in Pilchuck, USA.

II. Principles and Ethics of Membership

A. Our Ethos
We expect members to adhere to the highest legal and ethical standards, including respecting the values of the Club. Loyalty to the Club's mission and the public good is paramount; personal gain is not acceptable.

B. Expected Behaviour
Always show respect and courtesy to everyone. Any demeaning, discriminatory, harassing or threatening behavior, including inappropriate comments about race, gender, orientation, religion or vulgar language, is strictly prohibited.

III. Rules of Conduct and Use of Benefits

A. Communication
Communicate with artists, curators and other guests with the utmost professionalism and respect for their work and privacy. Do not interrupt the flow of events or the work of staff. Friendly communication and mutual assistance between Club members is welcomed and any benefits or gains resulting from this are a matter for the parties involved.

B. Use of Spaces and Events
Follow all Club rules and staff instructions. The use of narcotics and psychotropic substances, excessive consumption of alcohol, or unauthorized photography or recording is not permitted at Club events.

C. Protection of Assets and Reputation
Any damage, destruction or theft of the property of the Prague Gallery of Czech Glass, o.p.s. or related places is strictly prohibited. Do not damage the reputation of the club or use its name or logo for personal gain without express permission.

D. Confidentiality and Conflicts of Interest
Protect any confidential information obtained during your membership. Avoid any interests or activities that may present a conflict with the best interests of the Club and report them to the Club leadership in a timely manner. Do not accept personal benefits that could lead to a conflict of interest.

IV. Terms of Membership

A. Levels and amounts of donations

The club offers three levels of membership with annual dues:

Platinum Patron: €10,000 per year.
Gold Patron: €5,000 per year.
Silver Patron: €3,000 per year.

All Patrons at all levels receive invitations to a minimum of four exclusive events per year, offering networking opportunities with artists and celebrities. A list of levels and exclusive benefits is always up-to-date and published on the Club's website. All benefits provided by the Club to its members are non-profit and voluntary on the part of the Club. However, we believe that membership will bring meaningful experiences and connections with exceptional people.

B. Duration and Renewal
Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of donation. It is non-refundable and non-transferable as it is considered a tax deductible donation to the Prague Gallery of Czech Glass, o.p.s. and the Stanislav Libenský Award.

C. Joining Donation
A one-off joining donation of EUR 1 000 is payable on joining the Patrons' Club.

D. Consent to Disclosure
Members of the Club grant permission to publish their name or company on the Club's website and in the exhibition catalogue of the Stanislav Libenský Award.

E. Communication
Communication between members and the Club is done exclusively by email and through the official WhatsApp group.

V. Waiting List and Admission

A. Waiting List Rules

Those interested in membership will express their interest through the official form. When the Club is at capacity, approved candidates are placed on a waiting list. A donation equal to the joining fee may be required to secure a place on the waiting list. The donation is non-refundable even if the applicant is not accepted as it is used to support the Club's mission.

B. Course and Conditions of Acceptance
The Club reserves full discretion in the admission of new members, taking into account the strategic needs of the Club and the recommendations of existing patrons. The Club reserves the right to refuse membership to anyone who does not meet its high standards or whose behaviour would be contrary to the ethos of the Club, even if they are on the waiting list.

VI. Consequences of Violation of the Rules

A. Breach Detection Procedure

The Club reserves the right to refuse or revoke admission or membership to anyone whose conduct violates these guidelines. Violations shall be addressed by formal notification, patron response options, and investigation by Club management.

B. Possible Sanctions and Termination of Membership
Failure to pay the donation by the agreed deadline is a serious violation and grounds for immediate expulsion from the Club, while the already paid financial performance is not refunded. Other possible sanctions include suspension of benefits or permanent termination of membership, also without refund of fees. Persons expelled may be prohibited from participating in future events or reapplying for membership.

VII. Conclusion
Membership in the Stanislav Libenský Award Patrons Club is an active participation in the maintenance and development of the rich heritage of Czech glass art. A shared commitment to the mission of supporting glass art and young artists is the cornerstone of this exclusive community. Adherence to these terms and conditions ensures that the Patrons Club remains a beacon of excellence and integrity.

By accepting membership in the Club, you agree to the wording of these terms and conditions.
The Club reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
